“Here in The Women’s Circle, We
soothe that ache in the heart of the world, like a wooden spoon folding butter into dough. We
fold life into life again, fertilizing the earth with our tears.
We link arms and hips, and hearts with
the devotion of our foremothers for
these bodies, these cycles, these rites.
this planet, our home, the wild things,
plants animals trees, bugs, bloods, and
unconditional love and care for
each other.
We
lean into our longing to live as women were always meant to
As
the leaders of love.
We
gather to cultivate this gift, this pulsing passionate embrace of all that we carry
We
Are
a love that is so great that it can and it does and we will
~ Envision conceive gestate birth nurture feed and grow ~
Something new
something better
Something whole and true
Something to sink our hungry teeth into
Something to quench this painful thirst
Not just for me and you
But for us all
And It’s not just our birthright or our pleasure to gather together
{as women have always done}
It is
our responsibility.
It’s always been
as We:
the ones who bring forth
what
comes
next
And we are and we can and we do and we will
As we always have
Give birth to things of perfect beauty
All that’s required is that
we
show
up.
Step in,
take your seat or Take a stand
Just
Take
your
Place.
Join the women’s circle
Enter the red tent
Form a moonlodge with your own hands for yourself and your sisters
Your mothers and your daughters
The aunties and all
Come home to The Women’s Grove
Remember
This
It’s yours
It has always been and it will always be
We
Women
you know it’s time.
There’s no doubt,
there is a place for you right here in this circle
Which spans the whole planet and threads our ancient past into our future
Woman
YOU
Me
We
That’s all that’s required
Full empty broken open lost or found
all that’s needed, Here and now
Is your presence
your deepest desire
your most cherished wish
your divinely spun and completely unique thread
Right here in the blanket
Woven in to we
As is, It doesn’t matter if
it’s fallen out, color-full or colorless,
fading torn or bright
golden or
of the most unusual hue
As is
You
Woven in,
it’s the only way
It’s Required now
So that you and me and all together
We
strengthen this blanket
tighten the weave that is the shawl of comfort in these cold times
We
shape this colorful cloth cradle that holds
the picnic blanket that says to all
Come
Be fed by the cornucopia
of womanhood
We
the women of the world
will reweave the majesty of our tapestry
Just as we have done since the beginning
And as we
warp and weft together
we remember
what we know:
Just how it is that women have always been
The weavers of the fate of the world
Our threads may have been faded by the illusion of this illness of forgetfulness
But we
absolutely
have
Not
lost
Our ability
to weave
Come home to the women’s circle and you will see
You will know again what you have always known
Remember what you already perceive
Somewhere deep beneath
the noise the plastic the patriarchy
that
We
are needed here
And You are welcome home Perfect Whole
Complete
Healed Right Aligned In rhythm
You
are an absolutely cherished, gifted, necessary, gorgeous, important, strong, shining thread
Which we
need securely woven into this tapestry
of our shared wisdom
Women’s wisdom:
This tapestry that is and does and always has and always will
Warm welcome hold heal carry soothe inspire teach transmit transform and lift up humanity
into the light.”
